Happy Labor Day everyone! I hope you had some time to relax and enjoy this weekend! We had our youngest son's birthday Sunday and celebrated with friends outdoors in wonderful sunshine.

I got to pick up paintings from my show at the Arts Center in Saint John with the Plein Air Painters of the Bay of Fundy... now to re-decorate the restaurant display with a bounty of local land- and seascapes!

Today's painting is of the ever popular Shasta make, a 1957 called Lokelani (a small fragrant pink or red rose common in Hawaii; Merriam-Websiter). I was drawn to paint it because of the bike and the angle its wheel creates. Love the very classic turquoise!

Wir feierten Mathias' 6. Geburtstag Sonntag mit Freunden gross und klein in wunderbarem Sonnenschein.

Auch holte ich meine Bilder von unserer Ausstellung in Saint John ab von den 'Plein Air Painters of the Bay of Fundy'... und jetzt kann ich das Restaurant umdekorieren mit vielen neuen Landschaftsaquarellen. 

Unser heutiges Bild ist von der beliebten Shasta Marke, ein 1957 names Lokelani im Hawaii Dekor. Ich hab es ausgesucht wegen des Winkels des Fahrradreifens... und natürlich wegen der Farbe türkis!
