Here is the last vintage camper from the 'Girl Camp Canada' Group, an Airstream Excella with its 3 proud doggie 'camp-alongs'.

Also, as promised, I have been busy creating these beginner watercolour tutorials with Chinkok Tan's method (3 colours, one brush) for anyone interested.

These are short videos I created that explain step-by-step colour mixing and application paint-along and product overview.

The videos are 'a first' for me and unfortunately not perfect (I wanted to edit them somewhat on my computer, but gave up frustrated).

So, please forgive my not perfect english and lighting and so on... but I hope you will find them useful and encouraging!

When my January Camper Painting Challenge was almost over, I received a couple of late submissions, here is one of them, a cute yellow Boler camper. I still want to honour the submissions, so here we go, today's painting- it makes me look forward to spring;-)

If you are interested in a basic watercolour introduction on this blog, please have all your supplies ready, and get your palette prepared. If you don't know how to do this, you can get instructions here. Please note, the tube colours have to be dried in the palette for about 3 days (depending on climate)!
We'll do our first exercises in a couple of days, when your pigments have dried...

Als mein Januar Malmarathon fast um war, bekam ich noch zwei Camperfotos zugesendet, hier ist einer davon: ein suesser gelber Boler Wohnwagen. I moechte auf jeden Fall die beiden Camper noch malen, darum das heutige Bild- da freu ich mich schon auf den Frühling wenn ich seine Sommerfarben sehe!

Falls du Interesse hast, einen Aquarell Anfängerkurs hier auf dem Blog mitzumachen, bitte habe deine Palette präpariert und eine komplette Malausstattung parat. Falls du nicht weisst, wie die Palette vorbereitet wird, kannst du hier Instruktionen finden. Bitte ca 3 Tage Trockenzeit mit einberechnen!
Wir werden unsere ersten Uebungen in ein paar Tagen machen, wenn die Farben getrocknet sind...

I am keeping busy and while still playing 'catch up' with the laundry pile, I've painted this painting commission of sweet Lily Charlotte.
Who doesn't like cute puppies, so I took this as an opportunity to venture out into this being my first
dog portrait ever! Took me a while and challenged me in various ways, but here it is finished now;-)

Ich habe noch ein paar Projekte vor mir, und so, waehrend ich daran arbeite den Waescheberg in den Griff zu kriegen, finde ich natuerlich immer wieder die Zeit, etwas zu malen.
Hier eine Auftragsarbeit: Suesse Lily Charlotte.
Wer mag nicht kleine Hunde? So nahm ich das als Gelegenheit, mein allererstes Hundeportait zu malen! Es hat laenger gedauert und hat mich in ungeahnten Wegen herausgefordert, aber hier ist nun das fertige Gemaelde;-)
