Today is January 1st and I'm sending you my very best wishes for a healthy and happy new year, filled with lots of art and memorable moments!

Here I go again with a 30-paintings-in-30-days challenge, and as promised the theme will be 'vintage campers and cars'. After just one shout-out to a facebook group, many proud owners of vintage campers have sent me beautiful photos of their treasured 'campies'. Many Thanks!
I am still looking for more submissions, but I certainly can get started!
My first paintings is of 'Duckie', a canadian made Boler, a fiberglass trailer. When I saw the photos first, I fell in love right away! Thank you for submitting! See you tomorrow;-)      Simone

What makes a great photo for painting:
-strong light/shadow and/or
-strong colour contrast (camper vs. background, decorations)
-shows the whole camper or part of a set-up (aka: still-life type)


Heute ist der erste Januar and ich schicke euch meine allerbesten Wuensche fuer ein gesundes und glueckliches neues Jahr!
Und heute ist der Beginn eines neuen Monatsprojekts: 30-Bilder-in-30-Tagen, und wie versprochen wird das Thema klassische Wohnwagen und Autos sein. Nach nur einem Aufruf fuer Fotos in einer Facebook Gruppe, erhielt ich viele tolle Fotos von stolzen Camper Besitzern.
Ich braeuchte noch mehr Einsendungen, aber hab genug um anzufangen, vielen Dank!
                 Erstes Bild ist von 'Duckie', kanadische Marke 'Boler', ein Fieberglascamper. Als ich Fotos von 'Duckie' das erste Mal sah, war ich gleich hin und weg! Danke fuer die tollen Fotos!
