30 Vintage Campers in 30 Days
Today is the day to look back at the January Challenge, so I made this collage. I hope you like it.
Thank you again to all the beautiful vintage camper submissions, and all your encouraging comments- this made this journey a blast!
Also, special thanks to artist Leslie Saeta for posting the challenge- it was a great honour to journey with you and all the other artists. Leslie's blog is www.lesliesaeta.blogspot.ca
Thank you all, there are a couple more projects lined up, which will be posted here as they are completed!
Thanks for stopping by at this snow-blizzard-y day!
What a wonderful collection! Just love my painting of Abby
ReplyDeleteThank you Diana, Abby is a beauty, it was a great honour!
DeleteWAY COOL! I like your ART and your style!
ReplyDeleteGood LUCK, Simone!
Thank you, Sue, it was great journeying together, different artists, different styles, but fun either way;-) Happy painting, let's keep this going!
DeleteYou gave us a month full of memories and keepsakes for a lifetime. Thank you will never seem enough. From your girls at Girl Camp Canada
ReplyDeleteaww, you sweeties, what an honour to getting to know all of you and your beauties this month! Now we just have to meet in person at the camp-outs;-)))
DeleteIt has been so fun visiting your blog over the 30 in 30 - my hub and I have a diesel pusher, but we came to it by way of campers and trailers..so viewing them and seeing them on the road and in 'parks' is always a fun time. Your paintings depict them in such a loving and personal way..as little the little HOMES that they are.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pattie, yes, we made it! Your pet portraits are so sweet- I loved seeing them every day, too;-) And you must be travelling lots with a 'big rig', an inspirational life! Thanks for stopping by and happy painting (and happy trails, too)
DeleteCongratulations on completing the challenge, it has been wonderful to see your work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Rolina, for stopping by- you finished, too! Wasn't it a great journey? I enjoyed it very much, now to keep it going!
DeleteCongratulations on your challenge, Simone...wow, these pieces are fabulous...I can see what I'll be doing in February...catching up!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Meredith, for your sweet comment. And Congrats to you, too- you finished the challenge, too! I see you work in oil pastels which I have used for November to get used to, not too many people do! This is great! Thank you for sharing your gift of art and encouragement;-)
Deletefabulous..wish my Butterbean was in there....thanks for this!!!!
ReplyDeleteCassy @ Atomic Butterbean
thank you for your sweet comment... yes, the 'January Painting-a-day' is over now, but if you'd like to send me a pic, I am thinking of doing this again some time (if I can find enough vintage campers to paint;-)
DeleteLove this collage! I am dreaming of one day owning a vintage beauty, but they are so hard to find here on Vancouver Island without driving across the planet. Would be quite costly not to mention the price of the trailer. So for now I live through you folks and your stories of your travels. Thank you for sharing this lovely reminder of days gone by Simone, it really is truly lovely!
ReplyDeleteHi suzyb, thank you for your sweet comment! Yes, I love those little trailer, too and hope to be renovating our little one soon... if you are looking for a trailer, you could check kijiji or look while driving, often they are abandoned on someone's property and they might sell it for little. But they do have rot most often and need work... For the time being, I am happy to paint them when I see them! Thank you again for stopping by, I'm sending you spring greetings from a cold, rainy New Brunswick;-)
