Today was first day of school for us. Our gang is going to a small private christian school in the neighbour town.
It will be different to get up and leave house so early, but they had a good first day which we celebrated with an afternoon visit to Subway Sandwich (and it was their choice! Ham sandwich vs. ice cream! And the ham sandwich won- this is a first for us, haha)
Today's vintage campie is a 1961 Aloha called Auntie M. How sweet, as we have an 'Auntie M.', too, so I just HAD to paint it!
Love the flower decorations on the side and the striped awning in contrast to the bright light yellow.
Heute war erster Schultag fuer uns. Unsere Rasselbande geht nun in eine kleine, christliche Privatschule in unserem Nachbarort.
Da ist jetzt einiges anders fuer uns, speziell mit fruehem Aufstehen, aber sie hatten einen guten ersten Tag und darum war das Grund genug fuer einen froehlichen Einkehrschwung zu Subway Sandwich. Das haben sie sich gewuenscht- lieber Sandwich als Eisdiele! Das hat's bei uns noch nie gegeben, haha.
Unser heutiger Wohnwagen ist ein 1961 Aloha namens Auntie M. Wie toll, haben wir doch auch eine 'Auntie M.', so MUSSTE ich ihn einfach malen. Nette Blumen auf der Aussenwand und schoenes helles Zitronengelb, immer schoen!
