Camper of the Day is this 1976 Trillium fibreglass camper. Proudly made in Ontario, Canada, they are a very popular classic trailer especially here in Canada, this one has its home in the US I think, so this is great to see. The white trillium flower is the official provincial flower of Ontario chosen in 1937. 'Tri' means 'three' and trillium flowers have three petals, and by the looks of it, the Trillium campers are built of three main fibreglass parts. There are new generation Trilliums available again under the name the 'Outback Trillium'- again, made in Canada.

This weekend is the St. Stephen Fall Fair, a fun event for the whole family, which we have enjoyed going to the past years and this year is no exception. As it is also the International Plein Air Painters Paint Out, I decided to bring along my travelling-mini-painting-set-in-a-lunch-bag and painted this little painting from the kayak station while the kids and Markus paddled a round or two... I couldn't quite finish it on location, so did finish the last few strokes at home.

Wohnwagen des Tages ist heute dieser 1976 Trillium Fieberglas. Mit Stolz gefertigt in Ontario, Kanada; diese sind sehr beliebte Oldtimer Camper da sie kein Holz haben das verrottet, da sie weniger Wasserschäden haben und sehr leicht zu ziehen sind. Dieser hier hat sein zu Hause in den USA, das ist schoen zu sehen. Die weisse Trillium Blume ist die offizielle Blume von der Provinz Ontario, Kanada, gewaehlt in 1937. 'Tri' heisst 'drei' und die Trilliums haben drei Bluetenblaetter, und wie ich das so sehen kann, sind die Trillium Wohnwagen aus drei Hauptteilen gefertigt. Es gibt jetzt auch wieder neue Trilliumwohnwagen unter dem Namen 'Outback Trillium', auch hergestellt in Kanada.

Dieses Wochenende ist in St. Stephen Herbstausstellung, ein tolles Familienfest mit Streichelzoo, Kinderaktivitaeten, Live Musik und Farmvorfuehrungen wie Zugpferdeshow, Baumfaellwettbewerb und Imkerausstellung. Nachdem es auch das internationale Plein Air Paint Out dieses Wochenende ist, hatte ich mein kleines Reisemalset mitgenommen und malte dieses kleine Bild waehrend die Kinder und Markus beim Kanupaddeln waren... leider konnte ich es nicht ganz fertigmalen aus Zeitgruenden, aber so malte ich noch die letzten Pinselstriche zuhause.
